What happens to your face after you are done smiling? Smiledecay is an old electronic music project started by two friends more than 20 years ago. Their early material is snippets of recorded jams, prototypes of songs, and sonic explorations that were all but forgotten. Recently, these same two friends rediscovered these old recordings and decided to try out some new equipment with each other. Their most recent music is the soundtrack to another waystation in the journey of Smiledecay. Dark and brooding at times, always eclectic and interesting. Smiledecay is definitely diffetrent. Smiledecay. It's what's for dinner!
LEAH SMITH:
Leah is a composer and multi-instrumentalist from Clover, South Carolina. She has aTechnical Theater Degree from Winthrop University and has been doing freelance sound and theater work in the Charlotte area since 2012.
